We love photographing weddings around the south west enjoy reading about some of our wedding adventures.

Yesterday, Love Day Photography covered the wedding photography for a country wedding in mid Devon. The day was fun of fun down on the farm, from a giant hay bale bride and groom, to the groom’s vintage tractor, to a bride who plays sax and has her own ice-cream van!

Kate & Paul’s wedding was held at Kate’s parent’s farm, and they had all pulled out all the stops to landscape the area and host a great celebration for the 200 guests. The highlight of the day for me was to go up in a cherry picker in one of their barns to take the group photo.

We were spoilt for choice for great photographic opportunities, countryside views and the day was completed by some fantastic fireworks! We hope Kate & Paul enjoy their Isles of Scilly honeymoon.

Love Day Photography covered the wedding of Emma and Joe at ‘The Great Barn’ in Higher Ashton, Exeter a couple of weekends ago. The wedding party had a great day at this stunning Devon venue! The vast 15th century barn was a beautiful backdrop for the wedding ceremony, and at this time of year the surrounding buttercup fields and cottage gardens were blooming. We couldn’t believe when the bride suggested she wanted a piggy back!

This week we received a lovely thank you form the couple, Emma and Joe.

“Wow!!! Thank you both so much, our photos surpass all expectations they are absolutely amazing and we will have a tough job choosing! We really can’t thank you enough, i’ve never seen photos like it, you caught all the emotion and the images are very joe and I and really illustrate what is important to us. The buttercup field really is special!!”

At the weekend, Love Day Photography returned to Dartington Hall in Devon for Megan & Dan’s wedding day. Megan & Dan are both doctors so we were all in safe hands throughout the day.

It was a real privilege to be part of their special day and even though the weather for long periods was wet and cloudy, we made use of some dryer spells and ventured outside for some photos of them under the umbrellas. Megan and Dan were fantastic as we were able to get some really fun images in the beautiful gardens.

Megan & Dan, thank you again for asking Love Day Photography to take your wedding photographs and be a part of your wonderful day. x

This weekend, Love Day Photography were at the Corn Barn, Cullompton in Devon.  We first met Lauren and Adam in 2012 at the Powderham Wedding Show, and were delighted when they chose us as their wedding photographers. The day started off early, and we enjoyed a fun day with this lovely couple and their family and friends, from fly away veils and hats to little Jack’s hugs & kisses… We were both very touched when we came to leave the party and Jack the page boy ask to give us both a kiss & hug goodbye… we wish Lauren & Adam lots of happiness together!

Love Day Photography have had a lovely bank holiday weekend, hope you have as well. What great weather, Saturday we covered the wedding photography for Sarah & Steve’s wedding at The Woolacombe Bay Hotel in north Devon. The couple, their family and friends travelled down from Sussex to the Devon coast and they enjoyed a relaxed day in the sunshine. We visited Barricane Beach with the couple late afternoon, and the couple were treated to a round of applause from the whole beach! Barricane Beach was a fantastic location, we walked around to a private little cove amongst the rocks…

Yesterday, Love Day Photography were invited to do the wedding photography for Sammy-Jo & Jamie at Reed Hall in Exeter, Devon pilules pour viagra. We were treated to a glorious day of sunny weather. The day was full of fun, tears and laughter, just keeping up with the high spirited flower girl Stephie was a challenge! Guests enjoyed the day from Crafty Cakes stunning and yummy chocolate cake to the hilarious photo booth in the evening by Capturebooths.

Fortunately the weather in Shobrook in Devon yesterday wasn’t as bad as it had been forecast, in fact the early evening sunshine was really nice and we were able to take some lovely images of Caroline and Paul on their farmland. It was the first time Love Day Photography had photographed at Shobrooke church near Crediton – the Medieval church of St. Swithun has beautiful panoramic views over the Devon countryside. The couple and their guests enjoyed a big barn party on the couples farm at Shute. The barn was transformed into an amazing reception venue and in the early evening the couple enjoyed some special time together in the farms surround fields and apple orchard.

Many congratulations to Caroline and Paul and thank you for making us feel so welcome on your special day.

“Thank you so much for all your hard work on the day, before and after to give us such wonderful photographs. We will truely treasure them forever. We both felt so comfortable throughout the day and from our first meeting knew we could trust you both to capture the precious moments of the day.”

Thank you again Paul & Caroline

Wow… what an amazing wedding venue Maunsel House in Somerset is! Love Day Photography, photographed our first wedding there yesterday for Terri and Alex and was able to experience both the grandure and uniqueness of this 13th Century Manor. The weather was a little chilly but there was beautiful blue sky for much of the day which allowed us to photograph outside and all the children enjoyed an Easter Egg hunt later in the afternoon.

Terri and Alex looked a true picture of happiness during the whole day which also extended into the evening with a magnificent Hog Roast under the extensive Pergola area set within the gardens.

It’s only the day after, and already LoveDay want to go back to Maunsel House.

Congratulations Terri and Alex, what a wonderful day it was!

Love Day Photography were delighted to be awarded Devon & Cornwall Classic Wedding Photographer 2013, at the Westcountry Wedding Awards red gala ceremony at Crown Hill Fort, last night. This was our first year entering the awards and the judges noted that Love Day Photography’s business ethos was strongly supported by our wedding couples.

‘Beautiful personal mission statement, really liked the vision that the photographer gives to each individual wedding. Capturing their personality and culture.’

It was an amazing night, we were honoured to be there as a finalist and it was fantastic winning – a BIG THANK YOU to our past wedding couples who voted, and for the lovely feedback. We received all the supporting comments from our couples, and we were blown away by their recognition of our service and commitment to their day and love for the images we captured, which had us in tears.

Well done to the Love Day Photography team and to all the finalists and winners, thank you for a great night we enjoyed meeting you all.
